As one of our Habitat for Humanity of Sonoma County sponsors, there are many different ways you can help! By sponsoring a Build Day or an Event, you can help us achieve our mission of providing local families with a springboard to secure, stable futures through affordable homeownership, financial literacy and neighborhood revitalization.
Sponsoring a Sonoma County Habitat Home
If you or your organization would like to sponsor a Habitat home, home sponsors are invited to provide $25,000 or more in financial support. Sponsors are needed for each home that Habitat for Humanity of Sonoma County builds. Companies, foundations, churches and other organizations contribute either the full $25,000 sponsorship or we combine amounts at a minimum of $5,000 to reach the full amount. Home sponsors provide the important “seed money” to start construction while the remaining funds needed to complete our homes are provided by revenues generated by our Santa Rosa ReStore, donations, mortgage payments and other ongoing fundraising efforts.
